Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certifications are a plus.
• Basic tools required for the role.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• 2+ years of related training or work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Conduct standard vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and repair components as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs accordingly.
• Replace defective components as instructed.
• Handle facility maintenance tasks as required.
• Interact with customers/drivers to clarify complaints.
• Utilize Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
