Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Tampa, Florida. This role focuses on heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repair work.

The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for certification-based bonuses. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, use diagnostic software, and follow safety protocols while collaborating with drivers and team members on complex repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Two years or more of classroom training and work experience in required experience (preferred).
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Follows safety, DOT, and company guidelines.
