Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Orlando, Florida to maintain heavy-duty vehicles with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools. This on-site role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You'll work the second shift 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday, with a CDL preferred and opportunities for certification bonuses, merit pay, and tuition repayment. This position emphasizes safety and professional growth within a respected logistics company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required for the job.
• Two years or more of combined classroom and work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue.
