Ryder is hiring a Mid Level Diesel Technician in Fort Worth, Texas to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles, contributing to a safe, efficient fleet and a stable career path. This role features weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and paid training designed to keep you ahead in a fast-paced shop.

Hours are first shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, paid time off from day one, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, brake and tire work.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
