Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification is preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Performs facility maintenance duties
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Adheres to safety, DOT, MOT guidelines while performing tasks
• Supports operations with additional duties as needed

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
