Job summary

INNOVIM is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support the MDA on the IRES contract. The role emphasizes cloud, containerization, and secure DevSecOps practices with AKS, AWS ECS, and OpenShift. Location choices include Schriever Space Force Base or Redstone Arsenal; remote work is not available.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification. Expected annual pay is $135,000–$160,000, with competitive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of general full-time work experience.
• 6+ years in system integration with a focus on DevSecOps or Kubernetes.
• 1+ year in a management or leadership role.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+).
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain complex systems integrated with Government infrastructure.
• Oversee cloud and containerization tasks across engineering, architecture and administration.
• Migrate and maintain systems using Terraform, Helm, Ansible and Bash.
• Provide container hardening expertise to meet DoD and MDA standards.
• Develop scalable architectures for IaaS and PaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
• Deploy and manage cloud databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MySQL).
• Produce comprehensive documentation for integration processes.
• Stay current with cloud technologies and best practices.
