Job summary

LaunchTech, a veteran-owned company, seeks a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support MDA on the IRES contract. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native, Kubernetes-based solutions across AKS, ECS, and OCP, aligning with DoD security requirements.

You will lead migration efforts, implement IaC tooling (Terraform, Helm, Ansible), and ensure container hardening and compliance. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years of general (full-time) work experience
• Must have 6+ years of experience in system integration with a focus on DevSecOps or Kubernetes
• Must have 1+ years in a management or leadership role
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift
• Experience with Coder Platform
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and containerization technologies
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (required)
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex systems integrating with Government infrastructure
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable DevSecOps solutions
• Oversee migration using IaC tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Bash
• Provide container hardening to meet DoD and MDA standards
• Develop scalable architectures for IaaS and PaaS platforms
• Collaborate with developers, network engineers, and stakeholders for system integration
• Manage cloud-based databases and integration documentation
• Stay current with cloud technologies to improve integration processes
• Communicate with Government on subsystem pricing and sourcing
• Report infrastructure capabilities to leadership
