Job summary

Northern-Technologies-Group is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team supporting DoD and MDA environments. The role centers on designing and maintaining Kubernetes-based platforms across AKS, ECS, and OpenShift while driving security and automation.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform, HELM, and Ansible, implementing container hardening, and collaborating with software, network, and government partners to deliver robust cloud solutions with compliance to DoD

Qualifications

12+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
6+ years of directly related experience in system integration with a focus on DevSecOps or Kubernetes.
1+ years in a management or leadership role.
Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Red Hat OpenShift.
Experience with Coder Platform.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain complex DevSecOps solutions integrated with Government infrastructure.
Oversee cloud and containerization engineering, architecture, development, and administration.
Utilize Terraform, HELM, Ansible, and Bash for infrastructure as code and automation.
Ensure security management and privacy requirements across cloud systems, applications, and data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable IaaS and PaaS solutions.
Provide documentation, governance, and adherence to DoD and MDA compliance standards.
