Job summary

HX5 is actively seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud-native systems, with emphasis on secure DevSecOps practices and containerized platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable integrations using AKS, ECS, and OpenShift, while maintaining DoD-compliant architecture and documentation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of general, full-time work experience.
• 6+ years in system integration with DevSecOps/Kubernetes focus.
• 1+ year in a leadership/management role.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain DevSecOps solutions on AKS/ECS/OpenShift.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Bash.
• Ensure cloud security controls meet DoD and MDA standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integrations.
