Job summary

LaunchTech is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-native, Kubernetes-based systems that integrate with government infrastructure.

Role requires strong CI/CD, Terraform/Ansible, Docker/OpenShift proficiency, and a DoD Secret clearance. Work includes cloud migration, security hardening, and cross-team collaboration to ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• 6+ years in system integration with DevSecOps/Kubernetes.
• 1+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Proficient in AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Coder Platform.
• Strong CI/CD, automation, and containerization knowledge.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex systems integrated with government infrastructure.
• Lead cloud and containerization computing efforts across projects.
• Oversee infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Bash.
• Develop container hardening to meet DoD and MDA standards.
• Design scalable architectures on IaaS and PaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize subsystem pricing and sourcing.
