Executive Director, Inc. (EDI) in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Communications Manager to implement SBM's communications plans, including promotions, social media, and public education.

The role reports to the Senior Communications and Membership Manager, requires mid-level experience, and involves coordinating articles, newsletters, and web updates, with at least two days in the downtown Milwaukee office. Travel to annual meetings is limited; exempt, full-time status applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications-related field preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist Executive Director and Senior Communications Manager with marketing and communication plans.
• Use email campaign software, social media, and other means to promote SBM membership, event attendance, and engagement.
• Monitor SBM’s social media accounts and post relevant content as directed.
• Update SBM website content as needed.
• Track social media usage data and conduct a yearly social audit.
• Coordinate submission of Outlook member newsletter articles and publish issues (4x per year).
• Coordinate and publish Healthy Living article submissions and manage editorial calendar.
• Serve as liaison to SBM councils and committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
