Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. (EDI) is seeking a Senior Communications and Membership Manager to lead ACMS communications and public relations efforts in alignment with its strategic plan. This role directs member communications, newsletters, and branding, while guiding editorial standards and budgets.

You will collaborate with the ACMS Executive Director and leadership team to advance the association's mission, manage media outreach, and oversee digital channels in a hybrid Milwaukee office.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of communications experience including publications, web, public relations, and social media oversight.
• Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct a marketing communications strategy for ACMS across print, web, social media, and mainstream media.
• Maintain editorial, graphic, and branding standards for all ACMS communications and collateral.
• Plan, develop, and distribute all member communications.
• Write and distribute Member Alerts and leadership communications.
• Direct the editorial content, production, and distribution of ACMS newsletters (three times annually).
• Prepare communications proposals and budgets; manage budget for implementations.
• Coordinate with ACMS committees to support objectives.
• Direct press releases and media alerts for key initiatives; be media contact.
• Oversee annual meeting communications, including registration materials and programs.
• Oversee media records, reports, and PR opportunities.
