Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. (EDI) is seeking a Communications & Membership Manager in Milwaukee to collaborate with the Executive Director on the organization’s communications plan and member engagement.

The role includes website and social media oversight, liaison work with committees, and management of membership activities. The position requires strong written and verbal communication, detail-oriented organization, and ability to manage multiple projects in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in communications, design, and computer proficiency desired.
• Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high level of customer service.
• Ability to prioritize varied assignments and handle multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage communications for CSRO, including branding guidelines and key messages.
• Oversee emails, biweekly updates, and targeted action alerts.
• Maintain CSRO website content and navigation with Web Services support.
• Manage social media accounts with support from Hart Health Strategies.
• Prepare print materials, newsletters, and promotional handouts.
• Develop materials for Fellows Conference and Advocacy Conference and coordinate meetings.
• Oversee creation of annual conference website and programs.
• Create online resources for virtual meetings.
• Staff liaison to Membership Committee and engagement strategies.
• Manage CSRO virtual events with Administrative Meeting Manager.
• Oversee membership processes including renewals, invoicing, and records.
