Community Advocates, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Social Media & Communications Coordinator to support the Grants & Communications Director and elevate the organization’s visibility through engaging digital content.

You will manage social channels, create content, maintain brand consistency, and assist with newsletters, websites, events, and outreach while translating complex program updates into accessible messages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while managing priorities.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media platforms and monitor engagement across channels.
• Create compelling content including photos, videos, blogs, and newsletters.
• Ensure messaging aligns with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Develop materials like flyers, promotions, and impact reports.
• Maintain CA, MWC, and PPI websites and newsletters.
• Attend events to capture content and support outreach.
• Coordinate a communications calendar and cross-department messaging.
• Track social metrics and use insights to improve reach and impact.
• Support fundraising and donor communications and assist events.
