Job summary

AV3, Inc., a Southern Maryland-based AV systems integrator, is hiring a Mid-Level AV Technician to join our growing team. You will install and mount equipment, configure AV systems, and assist in testing and commissioning in secure spaces.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Avixa CTS is preferred. We offer benefits and a supportive, veteran-owned workplace.

Responsibilities

• Conduces permanent installation and mounting of AV equipment in secure spaces.

• Fabricates, terminates, and installs AV/IT cabling.
• Configures video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO.
• Tests, commissions, and troubleshoots AV systems.
• Assists in diagnosing existing AV systems.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Conducts the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Configures AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Responsible for the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
• Configures video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Assist with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Assist in diagnosing existing AV systems
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Additional qualifications include:

• Avixa CTS preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

Pay Range

$26 - $30 per hour

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
