We’re seeking a Junior AV Technician to join our team and support senior technicians in installation, configuration, and commissioning for diverse government, education, and commercial clients. Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and mounting of AV equipment on ceilings and walls.
• Configure AV gear including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne and Biamp.
• Fabricate, terminate and install AV/IT cabling.
• Configure video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO.
• Test, commission, troubleshoot AV systems.
• Assist with diagnosing existing AV systems and support other duties.

We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent: a Junior AV Technician!

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists tenured Technicians with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Assists with configuring AV equipment, including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Assists with the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
• Assists with the configuration of video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Assists with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must possess an HS diploma or equivalent. Additionally, you must possess at least one year of AV technician experience, as well as the ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

Pay Range

$23 - $26 per hour

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
