Job summary

AV3, Inc. is a small, Native American and Veteran-owned AV systems integration company based in Southern Maryland.

We are seeking a Mid-Level AV Technician to join our growing team and support installations for government and commercial clients. The role includes installing and mounting equipment, configuring Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp systems, and assisting with testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of relevant AV experience.
• Avixa CTS preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct permanent installation and mounting of AV devices in secure spaces.
• Configure AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, Cisco, ClearOne and Biamp.
• Fabricate, terminate, and install AV/IT cabling.
• Configure video conferencing solutions (Polycom and Cisco).
• Test, commission, and troubleshoot AV systems.
• Diagnose existing AV systems and assist in maintenance.

Supported by Belmont Point Management Inc.'s Executive Leadership team, we've earned a reputation as a premier AV integration and installation provider serving the Intelligence and Defense communities, Maryland Public School System, and diversified, worldwide commercial customers.

We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team – Mid-Level AV Technician!

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Conducts the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Configures AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Responsible for the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
• Configures video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Assist with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Assist in diagnosing existing AV systems
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Additional qualifications include:

• Avixa CTS preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

Pay Range

$26 - $30 per hour

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
