AV3, Inc. seeks a Lead AV Technician to support government AV/VTC production and installation. You will lead installs, configure and test AV equipment, and ensure documentation accompanies each project.

The role requires 5+ years loading and troubleshooting AV systems, travel up to 60% of the time, and preference for CTS and DoD Top Secret clearance. Expect a fast-paced environment with on-site installs across CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Formación

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; CTS preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience loading, testing, and troubleshooting AV/VTC systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% to CONUS/OCONUS locations and lead technicians.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage all life-cycle phases of AV projects, including documentation.
  • Load, test, and troubleshoot control systems (Extron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, Biamp).
  • Configure AV equipment (Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, Biamp).
  • Fabricate, terminate, and install AV/IT cabling (RJ-45, DB-9, XLR, fiber).
  • Configure video conferencing (Polycom, CISCO).
  • Test, commission, diagnose, and troubleshoot AV/VTC systems; perform site surveys.

Supported by Belmont Point Management LLC's Executive Leadership team, we've earned a reputation as a premier AV integration and installation provider serving the Intelligence and Defense communities, Maryland Public School System, and diversified, worldwide commercial customers.

We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Lead AV Technician! The right individual must be mechanically inclined, adaptable to a dynamic work environment, and able to successfully meet the physical demands of the job. This position supports our Government AV/Video Teleconference (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Manages all life-cycle phases of a project including providing accurate project documentation
  • Loads, tests, and troubleshoots control systems such as AMX, Crestron, and Extron
  • Loads, tests, troubleshoots, and manipulates DSP files including ClearOne, Biamp, and Extron
  • Configures advanced AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and BIAMP
  • Fabricate, terminate, and install AV and IT cabling; RJ-45, DB-9, 3.5mm, XLR, fiber, etc.
  • Configures video conferencing solutions such as Polycom and CISCO
  • Test, commission, troubleshoot, and diagnose various AV systems
  • Performs site surveys and document requirements for Engineers and PMs
  • Maintain certifications and continuous relevant training
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Travels onsite to lead installs for various AV Projects. Travel may be up to 60% at times.

To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS Diploma or equivalent; CTS Certification preferred; and the ability to travel up to 60% of the time to various CONUS and OCONUS locations are required. An active DoD Top Secret security clearance is strongly desired.

Additional qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years of experience loading, testing, and troubleshooting control systems such as Extron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne and Biamp
  • Experience leading a team of Technicians ensuring AV Standards are followed
  • Experience fabricating, terminating, and installing racks for deployment
  • Experience providing accurate project documentation for end-users and management
  • Experience testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and diagnosing various AV/VTC and low-voltage systems
  • Ability to life 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb
  • Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Pay Range

$75,00 - $80,000 per year

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
