Noise Control Engineering, LLC (NCE) seeks a mid-level Acoustic Engineer to join our landside acoustic consulting team in Billerica, MA. You will combine analytical modeling, field testing, and client collaboration to solve noise and vibration challenges.

As part of a small-business environment, you will diagnose problems, develop practical solutions, and contribute to project leadership while expanding our landside work for industrial, architectural, and environmental clients.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, or related field.
• Minimum four years of acoustic consulting experience.
• Experience with noise and vibration control in diverse environments.
• Proficient with acoustic modeling tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to define needs and select analysis and testing methods.
• Lead projects and mentor colleagues in model-based assessments and field testing.
• Report to Landside Acoustics Group Lead and support business development.
• Represent NCE at trade shows and expand landside work.
