Job summary

Noise Control Engineering LLC (NCE) is seeking an Entry-Level Acoustic Engineer to join our landside acoustic consulting team in Massachusetts. You will diagnose noise and vibration problems, develop practical solutions, and apply concepts from acoustics and structural vibration in a small-business environment.

You will work with experienced engineers to perform model-based assessments, field testing, and data analysis, while developing client communication skills and contributing to NCE's

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of acoustic analysis and noise-control principles.
• Familiarity with acoustic modeling tools (Cadna, SoundPlan, Odeon).
• Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Matlab, Python) is a plus.
• Interest in field testing and learning acoustic measurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Work under guidance of experienced engineers to understand client needs and apply analysis and testing methods to acoustic challenges.
• Contribute to model-based assessments, field testing, data analysis, and technical reports.
• Report to Landside Acoustics Group Lead and engage in mentorship-driven learning.
• Support growth of NCE's landside business portfolio through industry events and project work.
