SOCOTEC is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and expand into Mid-Atlantic markets. You will build and sustain client relationships, sponsor proposals, and coordinate with service lines across building, transportation, geotechnical, and environmental projects.

This role reports to the Executive Vice President and requires 10+ years in BD/Sales with a strong regional network. Office-based in Mechanicsburg or Phoenixville with up to 50% travel within PA, DE, MD, DC, and

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
• Proven experience developing relationships with public- and private-sector clients in engineering, architecture, environmental, transportation, construction management, or infrastructure industries.
• Established professional network within the Mid-Atlantic region in engineering, construction, transportation, municipal, development, and/or infrastructure sectors.
• Willingness to travel within territory up to 50% of time, approximately 2-3 overnight stays per month.

Aufgaben

• Perform market research to identify opportunities and prospective clients.
• Develop strategic business development plan for PA, DE, MD, Northern VA and DC Metro territory.
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with PennDOT, DelDOT, MDOT, DDOT, VDOT, local municipalities, transit agencies, and utilities.
• Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and annual revenue forecast.
• Coordinate go/no-go decisions with technical leadership for strategic pursuits.
• Attend relevant industry networking events to develop client relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop presentations and materials for outreach.
• Coordinate capture strategies, qualifications, proposals, interviews, and presentations for pursuits.
• Track opportunities from lead generation through contract award and maintain CRM updates.
• Support regional business development efforts through site visits and outreach.
