Job summary

SOCOTEC, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand into Mid-Atlantic markets and grow revenue across PA, DE, MD, Northern VA, and DC Metro territory. You will build client relationships, sponsor interactions to win projects, and lead outreach for multiple service lines.

The role reports to the President and participates in the Management Team, requiring travel up to 50% and a strong sales and client-relationship focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing relationships with public- and private-sector clients.
• Experience with public agencies, municipalities, departments of transportation, transit agencies, utilities, and private development clients is highly desirable.
• An established professional network within the Mid-Atlantic region is strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic business development plan to facilitate revenue growth for PA, DE, MD, Northern VA, and DC Metro territory.
• Establish, strengthen, and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline and annual revenue forecast.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop capture strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Coordinate opportunity tracking from lead generation through contract award.
