Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor, a 560-bed teaching hospital on a 340-acre campus, seeks a dedicated unit support teammate. You will assist patients, families and colleagues on assigned units, helping with admissions, discharges and transfers to maintain smooth patient flow.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will support patient experience and safety through equipment maintenance, stocking supplies and keeping the unit environment organized.

Qualifications

• Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Three to six months previous related experience
• Preferred customer service, retail, clerical experience

Responsibilities

• Supports patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units.
• Facilitates Admissions, Discharges and Transfers to ensure smooth patient throughput.
• Maintains unit environment of care and supports culture of safety through equipment maintenance and supplies.
• Provides reception-type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
