Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team at Christiana Hospital. The role is a Full-Time Flex schedule (36 hrs/week) with Night Shift rotations and day shifts as needed.

You will provide expert care for critically ill patients, work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families during vulnerable moments while using advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• ADN may be considered if the candidate commits to obtaining a BSN within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team for life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during challenging moments of care.
• Employ advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
