Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) and ACLS.
• 3–4 years of nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Experience as a charge nurse (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager of Clinical Operations in MICU providing administrative and clinical leadership on all shifts.
• Help plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide high quality patient care.
• Assist in ongoing educational and professional development of staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.
