Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager for the Surgical ICU (SICU). The role supports the Manager of Clinical Operations across shifts, coordinating personnel and resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care with trained, competent staff.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, IL RN license, BLS/ACLS, 3–4 years in critical care, and prior charge-nurse experience, plus demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois.
• BSN degree required.
• BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• 3–4 years of nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Experience as a charge nurse (1 year).
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager of Clinical Operations in the SICU with administrative and clinical leadership on all shifts.
• Help plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
