MVTA Dispatcher role for Microtransit CONNECT in Burnsville, MN. Responsible for coordinating drivers, monitoring on-time performance, and communicating detours and updates to operators and stakeholders.

The position requires 2+ years of dispatch experience, MN CDL with passenger endorsement, VTT certification, and proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office. On-site, full-time role emphasizing safety and customer service.

Formación

• At least 2 years’ radio and/or window dispatch experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid MN CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements
• Must have a current Verification of Transit Training (VTT) certificate prior to entering revenue service.
• Transportation Dispatching Software knowledge desired
• Intermediate knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsabilidades

• Verify credentials and conduct visual inspection of drivers for service readiness.
• Manage multiple complex tasks with computer systems.
• Post route information and detours across digital channels.
• Notify Keolis and ECCTA staff of service delays via email.
• Respond to detours and reassign tasks to operators as needed.
• Record work assignments, time worked, and call offs in dispatch software.
• Monitor on-time performance and assist drivers during emergencies.
• Maintain safety and professional appearance standards.
