Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Cyber Data Protection Manager focused on Microsoft Purview to design and deliver enterprise data governance and compliance strategies. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess risk and implement Purview solutions that align with regulatory requirements and business resilience.

You will collaborate with clients to define data classification, retention, and access policies while delivering workshops to educate teams on compliance tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data governance, or compliance consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 compliance solutions.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels.
• Support clients in aligning Purview with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and ISO 27001.
• Develop future-state roadmaps and implementation plans for Purview adoption.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define data classification and retention policies.
• Deliver workshops and training on Microsoft compliance tools.
