Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Microsoft Licensing Specialist II – On Premise to drive software licensing revenue within the CSP model. You will engage with prospects, customers, and internal teams to guide licensing decisions and ensure compliance.

You will analyze licensing requirements, create scenarios aligned with clients’ business and technology needs, and articulate cost-benefit trade-offs while supporting renewals and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills.
• Experience communicating with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze licensing requirements and advise clients on Microsoft licensing models.
• Create licensing scenarios aligned with client business and financial needs.
• Execute licensing sales and explain costs, benefits, and compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and other teams to optimize processes.
• Manage CSP on-prem and cloud licensing lifecycle and renewals.
