Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Microsoft Licensing Specialist II – On Premise to drive software and services revenue within CSP licensing. You will engage with prospects, customers, and internal teams to analyze licensing requirements and provide guidance on licensing models, investments, and compliance.

The role requires collaboration with finance, sales and practice leaders to maximize program utilization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience communicating directly with business clients.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a business setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an intermediate understanding of on-premise licensing models and CSP.
• Analyze licensing requirements and guide clients on Microsoft licensing models, investments, and compliance.
• Create licensing scenarios aligned with client business and technology needs.
• Sell licensing solutions, ensuring understanding of cost, benefits, and compliance.
• Collaborate with finance, sales and other departments to streamline licensing processes for Microsoft on-prem and cloud products.
• Deliver services related to on-prem licensing including RV Tools analysis, renewals, license keys, procurement & analysis of licensing statements.
• Present licensing topics to diverse groups across business departments and roles.
• Maintain understanding of CSP model, pricing changes, policies, and promotions as it relates to on-prem licensing.
• Manage lifecycle of Microsoft-funded engagements, coordinating with stakeholders to maximize program utilization.
