The opportunity

As EY expands our alliances, we seek a US-based Alliance Relationship Program & Operations Associate Director (ARD). This role involves working with Microsoft to grow Microsoft partner programs across EY, supporting go-to-market strategies, developing global execution plans, managing key relationships within EY and Microsoft, overseeing governance and collaboration, leading partner program operations, contracts, compliance, and providing performance insights. This position offers the chance to collaborate across the global firm and various service lines and sectors.

Your key responsibilities

Your role will be part of the Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship team, managing top EY alliances. Specifically, the Microsoft Program & Operations ARD will work directly with Global Alliance Leadership, Microsoft counterparts, and EY’s delivery practices worldwide to manage and execute strategic objectives of the Microsoft alliance program.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the Microsoft alliance program and operations strategy
  • Engaging with Microsoft counterparts to understand current and future programs
  • Driving global adoption of alliance partner programs and overseeing operations
  • Managing a global rhythm of business, including operations, reporting, and regional coordination
  • Leading intelligence and performance management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational improvements, and success metrics aligned with KPIs
  • Leading offshore teams to execute operations and enablement activities globally
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk management
  • Contributing to the global alliance network through content sharing, market insights, and knowledge exchange

This role is flexible in location, combining virtual work with regular coordination across teams worldwide. Some travel will be required.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Ability to manage multiple activities, providing enablement services in relationship management, governance, marketing, contracts, finance, content, and operations. Highly organized with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading offshore enablement and operations teams
  • Understanding of technology and business benefits of alliance partner products and solutions
  • Experience in alliance management or business development within technology or professional services
  • Proven success in building and nurturing strategic alliances
  • Strong networking and influence skills to drive actions and results across organizational boundaries
  • Credible communication skills, excellent organization, and project management, with a track record of delivering alliance sales and revenues

  • Comfortable escalating complex issues with recommendations to leadership

  • Competitive salary and benefits, including medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off. US salary range: $200,000 to $385,000; NYC, Washington, CA (excluding Sacramento): $240,000 to $437,500. Salaries are influenced by education, experience, skills, and location.
  • Hybrid work model with most roles involving 40-60% in-person work
