Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Office 365 Manager to lead a team responsible for administration, governance, and continuous improvement of a large-scale Microsoft 365 environment. This role combines people leadership with hands-on ownership of platform strategy and operational excellence.

You will mentor engineers, drive modernization, manage migrations, licensing, budgets, and partner with stakeholders to define roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration, engineering, or platform management experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing a technical team of at least 3 employees.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 administrators or engineers.
• Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online.
• Experience managing ServiceNow ticket queues, support processes, and operational workflows.
• Strong experience with project coordination and executive-level status reporting.
• Experience handling escalations and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Strong understanding of service management, governance, documentation, and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Microsoft 365 administrators and engineers.
• Manage day-to-day operations, support processes, ServiceNow queues, and incident response activities.
• Ensure platform reliability, service health, security, and operational performance across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical and customer issues.
• Drive cross-training, knowledge sharing, documentation, and operational standards across the team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while communicating status, risks, and priorities to leadership.
• Partner with stakeholders to define platform strategy, roadmaps, governance models, and service improvements.
• Lead Microsoft 365 migrations, upgrades, modernization initiatives, and platform transformations.
• Oversee licensing strategy, vendor relationships, platform budgets, and resource planning.
• Present platform risks, service metrics, project updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for automation through PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in technical discussions, architecture reviews, root cause analysis, and major incident resolution.
