Job summary

Bowman Williams is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to support mid-market clients as part of the Modern Workplace team. The role centers on Tier 3 troubleshooting with a strong emphasis on Intune and cloud services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration and support experience.
• MSP experience supporting multiple client environments is required.
• Advanced Intune troubleshooting and administration experience is required.
• Strong experience with Entra ID, Autopilot, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong Tier 2 / Tier 3 troubleshooting and escalation experience.
• PowerShell administration and automation experience.
• Strong client communication, documentation, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own advanced Microsoft 365 and Intune escalations across multiple client environments.
• Administer Intune including deployment, patching, policies, Autopilot, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot Entra ID, CA, MFA, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and hybrid identity.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint and Microsoft cloud issues independently.
• Use PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to automate tasks.
• Participate in client technical discussions, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain detailed ticket documentation and SLA ownership.

Tier 3 Microsoft 365 and Intune Support

We are a growing 100-person Managed Services Provider hiring a Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our Modern Workplace team supporting mid-market clients.

This is a Tier 3 troubleshooting and escalation role focused on maintaining existing Microsoft cloud environments. Approximately 50% to 60% of the workload is Intune related.

This is not a project-heavy position. A separate team handles major implementations and migrations, making this a strong fit for an experienced MSP engineer who enjoys advanced troubleshooting, client support, and ongoing environment optimization.

What You Will Work On

• Own advanced Microsoft 365 and Intune escalations across multiple client environments
• Administer Intune including application deployment, patching, compliance policies, configuration profiles, Autopilot, and endpoint lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and hybrid identity
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint, authentication, and Microsoft cloud issues independently
• Use PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to automate administrative tasks
• Participate in client technical discussions, major incident response, and root cause analysis
• Maintain strong ticket documentation, client communication, and SLA ownership

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration and support experience
