Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Allentown, PA is seeking a Microbiology Technician to prepare samples, record data, and support pathogen testing workflows in a regulated lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and basic computer literacy to enter results in LIMS. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 1+ year relevant work experience.
• Basic science knowledge to perform testing procedures.
• Basic PC knowledge to enter data and results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending.
• Label plates with client and sample numbers for traceability.
• Pipette samples into tubes/plates according to analysis process.
• Pour agar into plates or tubes to start growth.
• Incubate plates at specified time and temperature.
