Health Network Laboratories, LLC in Allentown, PA is seeking a Technical Coordinator to support the Microbiology department. You will develop SOPs, provide training, monitor quality, improve workflow, and prepare qualitative and quantitative reports to support operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with laboratory software (Sunquest and/or Co-Path).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to read, interpret scientific and technical material, and write clearly.
• Strong math, reasoning, and analytical skills; proficient computer literacy.

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains SOPs per CLSI guidelines or policies.
• Provides technical training and education to staff.
• Monitors quality, workflow, and staff productivity; improves processes.
• Prepares qualitative and quantitative reports and records.
• Supports financial reporting with division leadership.
• Coordinates and reviews testing results; conducts instrument validation.
• Establishes QC/maintenance programs for instruments; analyzes QC data.
• Trains new staff and students; verifies competency and orientation.
