HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a qualified professional to support the Microbiology department. The role involves developing SOPs, training staff, and coordinating quality control and testing workflows in a busy lab environment.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, supporting financial data, and staying updated with CLSI guidelines. A Bachelor's degree and relevant lab software experience are required; ASCP/ASMT/NCA certification is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and reports.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and laboratory information systems (Sunquest/Co-Path).
• Certification by a recognized CLP certifying agency preferred (ASCP/ASMT/NCA).

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains department SOPs per CLSI guidelines and internal policies.
• Provides technical training and education to staff within the clinical operations area.
• Monitors quality, workflow, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
• Prepares various qualitative and quantitative reports and records.
• Supports financial reporting with the division manager/director.
• Keeps current with new developments by literature review and meetings.
• Coordinates testing results and may act as Director of Phlebotomy School.
• Performs verification/validation on new instrumentation and resolves issues.
• Establishes performance checks, maintenance, quality control, and corrective actions.
• Prepares and revises lab procedure manuals and conducts staff orientation/training.
