Job summary

The role collaborates with the Laboratory Site Manager to ensure accurate results and compliant operations. Responsibilities include reviewing procedures, assisting with staff scheduling, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring proper documentation in LIS and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science with ASCP eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience in non-waived testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains technical competence and performs MLS/MT testing as needed.
• Collaborates to maintain the Quality Management program for the assigned area.
• Reviews lab procedures biannually and submits revisions for network review.
• Assist or create staff schedules; organize and supervise daily workload; manage call coverage; Kronos timekeeping.
• Review QC data and implement corrective actions; document actions and inform leadership.
• Ensure proper documentation of results in the LIS and lab records; oversee equipment and safety procedures.
