Job summary

Merieux NutriSciences is seeking a Lab Technician - Microbiology in Allentown, PA to prepare samples, record data, and support pathogen testing workflows. The role emphasizes accurate labeling, careful handling, and adherence to LIMS documentation and safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associates or Bachelors in Microbiology/Biology or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of science to perform testing procedures and obtain accurate results.
• Basic knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending.
• Label plates with identification for tracking.
• Pipette samples into tubes or plates according to analysis process.
• Maintain and follow safety and sanitation practices.
