Job summary

BioTechnique is seeking a Microbiology Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the microbiology laboratory, ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, FDA, and USP requirements. You will lead microbiology staff, review data for accuracy, and drive CAPA investigations to maintain data integrity and product quality.

You will coordinate testing, support method validation, and collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and R&D to enable steady growth and development within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
• 5+ years in a GMP microbiology lab.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily microbiology lab operations.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, FDA, USP.
• Review and approve lab data and reports.
• Lead investigations for OOS and deviations; implement CAPA.
• Maintain readiness for internal and regulatory audits.
• Develop, revise and approve SOPs and training.
• Coordinate sample scheduling and testing timelines.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and R&D.
