Job summary
BioTalent is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Control Microbiology to lead microbiological testing, investigations, and continuous improvement in a GMP biopharmaceutical setting. This role focuses on environmental monitoring, sterility, bioburden, and growth promotion while ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Microbiology or related field, 5+ years of QC Microbiology experience, and prior supervisory experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Microbiology or related field.
- 5+ years QC Microbiology in GMP biopharma.
- Experience with environmental monitoring, sterility, bioburden.
- Experience leading investigations and CAPA implementation.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead QC microbiology testing including environmental monitoring and sterility.
- Drive investigations (OOS/OOL) and CAPA implementation.
- Review protocols and SOPs to ensure cGMP, USP, EP, Annex 1 compliance.
- Supervise and mentor QC Microbiology team; provide training.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement.
- Work on impactful biologic products in a regulated environment.
