Certified Group is seeking a Microbiology Lab Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and drive compliant, timely microbiology testing across our labs. The role emphasizes frontline leadership, workflow optimization, and a focus on quality, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure SOP adherence, and mentor staff while maintaining data integrity and audit readiness across multiple disciplines within our regulated testing portfolio.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or the biological sciences is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading an hourly workforce in an operations environment.
• Experience in commercial laboratory testing or manufacturing (food, cosmetics, tobacco) preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily operations and oversee a team of laboratory technicians.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, ISO 17025, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
• Coach team on quality control and lab best practices.
• Prepare the lab and staff for internal and external audits.
• Maintain a clean, compliant lab environment and promote safety.
