Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Microbiology Lab Supervisor to lead daily microbiology testing operations on site. You will manage a team of laboratory technicians, ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with SOPs and ISO 17025.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll drive workflow efficiency, coach staff, coordinate audits, and maintain a safe, productive lab culture aligned with safety, quality, and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or biology required.
• Minimum 3 years leading an hourly workforce in operations.
• Experience in commercial laboratory testing or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to SOPs, ISO 17025, GLP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily operations and manage staff to meet testing deadlines.
• Coach team on QC and lab best practices; prepare for internal/external audits.
• Maintain clean, compliant lab environment and safety culture.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results and client inquiries.
