Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead and coordinate professional laboratory operations across our enterprise.

You will collaborate with pathologists and clinical and administrative leadership to ensure services support clinical and safety initiatives, maintain test-system competency, and enhance quality, efficiency, and timeliness. Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in technical laboratory services and operations.
• MLS/MT certification (ASCP) or equivalent as appropriate for area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pathologists and leadership to support clinical and safety initiatives.
• Direct and oversee efficient laboratory operations and liaise with lab leadership.
• Maintain competency in test systems and serve as SME.
• Develop and implement performance improvements to boost patient satisfaction and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and readiness inspections; manage staffing and resources.
• Develop communication and collaborate to provide excellent customer service.
