US Foods is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead the Transportation department, focusing on safety, service, and cost. You will manage drivers and transportation staff, drive efficient operations, and ensure safe and timely outbound shipments to our customers and distribution centers.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and adherence to DOT regulations while building high-performing teams and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to meet department goals.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
Driving experience is a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead safety-first culture within the Transportation department.
Develop drivers and transportation associates through coaching and training.
Oversee and evaluate performance, addressing gaps with improvement plans.
Manage daily outbound shipments and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure DOT compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Collaborate with Transportation leadership and cross-functional teams.
