Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Mi-Jack crane operator and heavy equipment operator for its Derwood, MD Transfer Station in Montgomery County. The successful candidate will operate Mi-Jack crane, front loader, bulldozer, and excavator on site.

Qualified candidates typically have 3–5 years of experience with heavy equipment, along with a GED/HS diploma. The role includes shift work on a weekly rotating schedule and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma preferred; Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program to achieve GED.
• Three to five years of experience operating heavy equipment including Mi-Jack Crane, Front end Loaders and Excavators.

Responsibilities

• Mi-Jack crane operator - move loaded/empty containers from truck chassis to railcars.
• Serve as back-up operator for loaders, excavators, forklift, and skid steer for yard tasks.
• Fill in for other positions as needed by shift supervisor.
• Aid mechanic on equipment repairs requiring extra help.
