Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Mi-Jack crane operator and heavy equipment operator for its Derwood, MD Transfer Station in Montgomery County, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Reworld's heavy equipment at the site, including Mi-Jack crane, front loader, bulldozer, and excavator.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma preferred, Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience operating heavy equipment including Mi-Jack Crane, Front end Loaders, Excavators, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mi-Jack crane and other heavy equipment; assist as backup operator as needed.
• Fill in for other positions such as equipment operator, compactor operator and shuttle driver.
• Assist mechanics with repairs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor.
