Job summary

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior or Lead Equipment Operator at our Montgomery County Oaks Landfill in Derwood, MD. You will provide commercial driving services for MES clients and operate heavy equipment at field locations, including wheel loaders, excavators and forklifts.

The role requires 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience and a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement; walking floor trailer experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Proficiency with at least two types of heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of essential maintenance checks on multiple equipment types.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators and forklifts.
• Provide commercial driving services for MES clients at various field locations.
