Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Mi-Jack crane operator and heavy equipment operator for its Derwood, MD Transfer Station in Montgomery County. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment on site, including Mi-Jack crane, front loader, bulldozer, and excavator, and may fill in for other roles as needed.

The role requires 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience, with preference for Mi-Jack crane proficiency and front-end loader/ excavator experience.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment including Mi-Jack Crane.
• Front end Loaders, Excavators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mi-Jack crane operator with ability to learn and operate the crane for moving containers from trucks to railcars.
• Fill in for other positions as needed, including equipment operator, compactor operator and shuttle driver.
• Aid mechanic on equipment repairs requiring additional help.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor.
