Arch Vista in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Mental Health Tech (MHT) to provide compassionate, structured care in a comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment facility. You will help maintain a therapeutic milieu, perform safety rounds, and support groups to assist patients on their path to recovery.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or STNA/EMT experience preferred.
• Age 21+; ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist with lifts/transfers as needed.
• Empathy, consistency, and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform frequent safety rounds, observations, and 1:1s; document behaviors and interventions.
• Lead or assist with groups: coping skills, grounding, recreation, and ADLs support.
• Partner with RNs during crises using verbal de-escalation, redirection, and team response protocols.
• Support admissions/intakes: belongings inventory, vitals, and orientation to the unit.
• Maintain a therapeutic, tidy environment and uphold visitor policies.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
