Amazon is seeking a Solutions Engineer within Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance of conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices.

You will evaluate MHE software configurations, design software-based solutions, lead end-to-end implementations, and collaborate with operations, engineering, and IT teams while traveling up to 70%.

Competenze

• Experience programming with modern languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Knowledge of control software environments (Studio5000, Ignition, Codesys).
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; Lean Six Sigma understanding.

Mansioni

• Evaluate existing MHE software configurations and identify gaps and bottlenecks.
• Develop optimization strategies to improve throughput, uptime, and OEE.
• Design software solutions for conveyors, AS/RS, and MHE assets.
• Create technical specifications and architecture documents for proposed solutions.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of software optimization projects.
• Manage system integrations between MHE controls, ERP/WMS, and middleware.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of software changes.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and IT to understand requirements.
• Present ROI analyses and business cases to leadership.
• Serve as liaison between vendors, integrators, and internal teams.
• Conduct training sessions for customer staff.
• Provide 24/7 Tier 2/3 technical support for MHE issues.
• Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and capital planning.
• Handle flexible workload and travel up to 70%.
